3 Reasons Why Haircut-Only Salons Will Continue to Grow

  1. Market Demand and Proven Success

    Market Growth

While the overall hairdressing industry in Japan is slightly declining, the low-cost haircut specialty market is on the rise, driven by changing workstyles and an improved image.

    Success in local markets

Many of our stores in regional cities have seen continuous revenue and profit growth for over a decade, indicating that there’s still significant potential in local markets.

  2. Potential for Hundreds or Thousands of New Salons

    Population-based projections

The number of stores that can be opened in each prefecture is more than 300 in Japan!
*If one store is opened per 70,000 population

    Our vision

Based on our track record, there should be many opportunities to open new salons in your country.

  3. Top Performance in Suburban Locations with a Family Focus

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q
    Can I join without a hairdresser's license?
    A
Yes, you can. None of our current franchise owners hold a hairdresser's license. Please note that licensed hairdressers are not eligible to apply.
  • Q
Is it okay if I have no experience managing a hair salon?
    A
Our franchise owners have experience as business leaders, but no one had prior experience in managing hair salons before joining us. Our franchise agreements also include a non-compete clause to ensure smooth operations.
  • Q
Is it easy to recruit hairdressers?
    A
Once the location is finalized, recruitment efforts should be adapted to the specific characteristics of that area. Our headquarters also provide support and guidance for hiring, and we can dispatch support staff if needed.
  • Q
Can I start with just one salon?
    A
Our business model encourages franchisees to aim for an initial expansion to five locations. On average, our current owners operate between seven and ten salons.
  • Q
I’m a sole proprietor, can I still apply?
    A
Franchise agreements with our company are assuming corporate contracts.
  • Q
I don't have a clear idea of where I can open a salon, can I consult with you?
    A
During the post-contract signing training, we provide detailed information on optimal site conditions, which will guide the location selection process.
  • Q
Will you help me find a property?
    A
While we expect franchise owners to primarily search for suitable properties, our headquarters also receive numerous property listings, including those in commercial facilities. We share these opportunities with franchisees as they become available.
  • Q
How long does it typically take from signing the contract to opening the salon?
    A
Depending on the property selection, new locations can open in as little as three months.
